Tip

Keep your fingers clean by using a Pysanka Lifter to bring your dyed egg up to the top rim of your dye jar, then grab the egg with a paper towel. No need to grab the egg with your bare fingers. Wrap the pysanka up like a present! Use both hands to gently squeeze the egg to allow the paper towel to absorb any excess dye. This should dry your egg sufficiently to allow beeswax to adhere to it. No need to rub the egg nor air dry it!
